   Cowandilla Primary School

About Us

Cowandilla Primary School has approximately 300 students. We are located in the western suburbs of Adelaide, in the West Torrens Council area.

We are an:

Our Classes


In 2008 we have 17 classes, plus a Child Parent Centre.

Our school has a New Arrivals Program (NAP). This year we have 7 NAP classes, catering for New Arrivals students from Reception to Year 7.

In 2008 our classes are:
CPC (Child Parent Centre)
Two R/1 classes
Two year 1/2 classes
One year 2/3 class
Two year 4/5 classes
One year 5/6 class
Two year 6/7 classes
Seven NAP classes


School leadership

The school has a Principal, an Assistant Principal, a New Arrivals Assistant Principal, an English as a Second Language Coordinator, an Accelerated Literacy Coordinator, a School Counsellor and an e-Learning Coordinator.
